Absolute Infatuation

Ola Mae Photography Barcelona Bike Trip Ride Solo Female Traveler

Not wearing my photographer’s badge this week has been weird. Partially, I felt free- after all, I didn’t have the urge to flip out my phone every 5 minutes because that simply was not an option. Moreover, I found myself more connected to myself, Nature, and the experience of Now. But part of me was regretful because some memories did not get recorded.

I guess balance is the key to it all, right? But maybe to find mine, I need to completely disconnect for a while?

THE TRIP IS MINE

No matter how hard I try to show you all of my experiences, to feel what I am feeling, you have to go on your trip. This is a reminder for both myself, as much as it is one for you. The good thing is that you don’t have to get on the bike and cycle like a lunatic for the next 7 months. Your adventure doesn’t even have to require you to leave the house. Just try to close your eyes and go within for a minute. You’ll be surprised what you can find.

MINI-PHOTOSHOOT

Back in Tarragona, we improvised a photoshoot with another fellow Couchsurfer- Mondir. Check out his YouTube channel HERE. I forever love working with people, especially if they are driven individuals.

BYE BYE SPAIN

I gotta say - I got a bit melancholic about leaving the Spaniards. They took my heart by storm and left me wanna come back for more.  But as all things come to an end, here I am - back in France once again - a record of 3 (!) visits (only on this trip), with an open heart and mind to find out what’s here for me this time around.

BARCELONA DREAMS

Many people told me I was going to love Barcelona. When I first got in, I thought it was a decent place, but did not think much of it. Everything changed when I saw Gaudi’s work… I am not the one who falls for pretty buildings but holy shit, was this guy a genius or what? I got completely enchanted by his mind and even inspired to create. The idea is too big to be shared right now, but I’ve got something important cookin’!

WHERE AM I?

Despite closed borders, once again I prove that it is not impossible to move across the countries. The frontier between Spain and France, Pyrenees Mountains, was absolutely gorgeous and now I am only about 1000 km from my sister’s house. Let’s go!
