This is Mad!
March 6, 2021OTHERWORDLY LAND
From breathtakingly beautiful rocky beaches to the uglies greenhouses that give you a feeling of being on another planet- Andalucia truly has it all. The scenery this week was something that I was hoping for a long time- a stunning coastline that is so beautiful you forget how taxing climbing hills is.
MOMENT OF TRUTH
Parts of Almeria were ugly. The ugliest I have seen so far. Greenhouses are densely peppered throughout the area and are an absolute eyesore. The landscape doesn’t even resemble earthly scenery anymore - with a hazy sun, the lack of vegetation, and a ton of garbage all around (!), it makes you feel more like you’re on another planet. The greenhouses taint the topography everywhere you look, so when faced with a need to find a wild spot to put up a tent, one has no choice but to find a camping facility.
FAUNA AND FLORA, FLORA, FLORA
Once, I left the greenhouse hell I was back to enjoying Nature. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite parts of being in the South of Spain is the vegetation. Everything that seems new is automatically exciting and I love the experience of seeing things for the first time. This week I was beyond thrilled to discover my first avocado tree!
YOU MUST BE JOKING!
I couldn’t be thankful enough to have a baby drone with me. If not for this tiny flying device, I don’t think I would be able to show how incredibly beautiful this area is. The grandness of the landscape truly takes one’s breath away! Check it out below.
WHERE WE AT?
Currently, I am staying an extra day in San Jose- right in the middle of Natural Park - Cabo de Gata. I will make my way towards Valencia where I should arrive in the next week or so.
